Selling the items you make

You may sell items you made with this pattern, and I wish you good luck with your business! You may only sell the garments if you are the purchaser of the patterns and are sewing yourself on a small, home-based scale. It is not allowed to transfer the pattern to another party.

 

Copyright

You may not resell, copy, or redistribute this pattern in any form. The buyer of a sewing pattern from Threads by Caroline may only use it personally. Sharing or exchanging a pattern with other parties is strictly prohibited.

  

Ordering

When you've completed an order, an order confirmation is sent to your e-mail address. In the confirmation you'll find information about the products, prices, billing and shipping address. If any details are wrong, please contact me immediately via e-mail info (@) threadsbycaroline.com. 

The customer is responsible for providing correct delivery information, such as shipping address and e-mail address. 

 

Delivery

When you purchase a digital pattern: Shipping is free of course. When you've made a purchase of a PDF pattern, you can download your pattern files instantly. You will reach them in three ways: at the order confirmation page, in your order confirmation e-mail, and on your account history when you're logged in at the website. Make sure to download the files and save them to your computer. 

When you purchase a printed pattern: I ship your order within 1-2 holiday free working days, usually 1 day. The shipping time is usually 1-2 days (to Sweden) and 2-6 days (to Norway and EU-countries). Note that orders made during the weekend will be sent on the Monday after the weekend. 

Please note: from July 1st until August 6th 2023, I am on summer vacation. Please see separate shipping info. 

If shipping delays occur (without me notifying you about it), contact me via e-mail, info (@) threadsbycaroline.com. If you haven't received your order within 10 days after ordering, contact me immediately so that I may help you.

Prices

All prices in the store are in the currency SEK (Swedish krona) or EUR (euro), including VAT and subject to price changes, typos in price list and price errors due to faulty information. I reserve the right to adjust the price.

Returns policy

When you purchase a digital pattern: Due to the nature of these products the consumer has no right to make a return or exchange. This is in accordance with 11 § 11 in the Swedish Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (2005:59). 

When you purchase a printed pattern: you have a right to a 14-day cancellation period. The 14-day cancellation period starts the day after you receive your order. The customer pays the return shipping. Please contact me if you'd like to make a return. The product must be well packaged and in original condition.

 

Claims

If you discover a fault with the product you've bought, I ask you to contact me and submit your claim. I will do my best to resolve your complaint.

 

Permit for schools, terms:

If you wish to use my patterns in your school you must respect these terms:

• PDF-patterns are not included in this school permit. Only printed patterns may be purchased and used in schools.
• You may purchase the patterns at the same price as private persons, however it must be the school that is behind the purchase. If you as a private person has already purchased a pattern for yourself, you may not bring it to your school and use in class. The school must purchase their own copy.
• The sewing pattern and its tutorial may not leave the school premises.
• You're permitted to make copies of the tutorial, (but only for distribution in the classroom). But you may not make copies of the pattern sheet. If you require extra copies of the pattern sheet, please contact me and I can allow you to purchase extra copies at a lower price.
• Please also contact me via mail and tell me a bit about your school and how you are using the patterns.

 

Disclaimer

The patterns and tutorials are true and complete to the best of my knowledge. The patterns and tutorials are made without guarantee on the part of Threads by Caroline. I disclaim any liability in connection with the use of the patterns, tutorials and the items made with them.

THEREFORE I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE, THREADS BY CAROLINE, AND ITS INDIVIDUAL DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND ANY OTHER PERSONS OR ENTITIES ACTING ON ITS BEHALF, AND THE SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY OF EVERY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OR FAULT OF THE ENTITIES OR PERSONS RELEASED, FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE.

Product information

I reserve for any typos or misprints on this website, as well as selling out products. I cannot guarantee that the pictures renders the product's exact look since colors may appear different on different screens. 

 

Cookies

When you place an order in our webshops (threadsbycaroline.com, and our shop at etsy.com) you state your personal data, which I need in order to complete your order, and you approve that I store this data in order to fulfill our agreement. These personal data are name, billing address, shipping address, e-mail, IP-address and browser. I will store this data for as long as I'm required to according to the Swedish Accounting Act.

I share your personal data with my external partners only for as much as I need to run my business, for example my web hosts and applications that send out digital patterns, receipts and newsletters.

According to the GDPR you have a right to see which information I have stored on you. If it is wrong, incomplete or irrelevant you can ask me to correct it or remove it. Please contact me, Threads by Caroline, in that case. As long as there’s no legal obstacle, you can demand that I remove your personal data.
