Amelie is a top and a dress with a bow in the back; a gorgeous detail that can be made both cute and cool depending on your fabric choices. The neckline is sewn with a clean finish binding and the sleeves are slightly gathered. The dress is knee length and the waist is also gathered.

PDF-pattern:
Delivered instantly upon purchase to your e-mail address. This PDF-pattern includes three pattern formats:
- A4/letter size for home printing, 16 pages. Layered.
- Projector format, layered.
- A0 size for copy shop printing, 1 sheet. Non-Layered.
The Sewing instructions are also included as a PDF-file, 17 pages.
Printed pattern:
Printed in color on high-quality paper that is durable and can be used many, many times over. The sewing instructions are also color-printed, a booklet in A4-size, 16 pages. The pattern sheet and instructions booklet are packaged in a beautiful envelope you can save and store your pattern in.
Printed + PDF:
You'll receive both formats. The PDF pattern is delivered to your email, and the printed pattern shipped to your address.
Fabric: Light to medium weight knit fabric, for example cotton/lycra jersey, with good stretch and recovery. Heavier knit, such as college or sweatshirt, is also good, but for the binding you should use light-weight knit.
This is an estimate of how much fabric you’ll need, based on pre-washed/pre-shrunk fabrics with 150 cm width (60”).
Coordinating thread.
Sewing machine with a stretch needle. You can also use a serger/overlocker, but you don’t need to.
Choose a size based on your child’s chest width. The bodice has 1,4 cm (almost 5/8”) positive ease which means that the finished garment will be 1,4 cm (almost 5/8”) larger than the chest measurement of that size. If the child is between sizes, I recommend that you choose the larger size.
