Tester pics Hanna sweatshirt & dress

For a couple of weeks during spring we held a pattern test for our sweatshirt and dress pattern Hanna. 45 of our pattern testers signed up for it sewed lots of sweatshirts, t-shirts and sweatshirt dresses with the Hanna pattern. It was as always so much fun and inspiring to see what they were making.

And then, the moment of truth: their feedback... And it was really great! Everyone seemed to really love Hanna and they had so much great feedback. We improved several aspects of the pattern and sewing instructions, and then released the pattern for our customers.

Let's have a look at some of their makes. We'll start with the smallest size and work our way up. But first, the design options of Hanna:

 

Dorthe (@my.creative.mood) sewed size 32, graded to 34 over the hips, in a viscose jersey fabric. This is variant C with long sleeves. She says:"What i really like about Hanna is that it can be an everyday dress. The raglan sleeves gives me a casual feel, witch i like. And it is so comfortable." 

 

Joelle (@joellecreatief) sewed size 32 for her daughter. This is variant A, with short sleeves. "De Hanna is een leuk naaipatroon met meerdere opties. Gemakkelijk te naaien en zowel in zomer als in de winter te dragen! Heeft een mooie pasvorm en is niet te oversized."

 

Therese (@pillangodesign) also sewed for her daughter. This is size 34. The blue one is sewn in french terry and the purple one is sewn in jersey. Both are variant A with long sleeves.

 

Damaris (@leissadesign) sewed size 34 in viscose jersey. This is variant B with short sleeves. "Älskar att mönstret går att använda till plagg för finare tillfällen liksom plagg till vardags."

 

Ida (@avidarand) sewed size 34 in viscose jersey. This is variant B with bishop sleeves and a mock turtleneck. "I love the fit of this sweater! Perfect to vary for everyday use or for finer occasions."

 

Frida (@baralitetill) sewed in size 34 in a lightweight knit fabric. She sewed variant A, with bishop sleeves. "Gorgeous and useful sweatshirt with beautiful options!"

 

Anna (@tre_sma_a) sewed size 34, graded to 36 over waist and hips. She made two dresses. The one to the left in a knit fabric, and the one to the right in viscose jersey. "A pretty and easy-to-sew pattern. There are so many variants and options + already marked color block lines".

 

Sofia (@lilla08a) sewed size 34, graded to 38 over the hips, in a viscose jersey fabric. This is variant C with long sleeves.

 

Julia (@by_flock) sewed variant C with bishop sleeves in size 36. She used a french terry fabric.

 

Kristin (@syttavkristin) sewed size 36 in french terry fabric. This is variant A, with bishop sleeves. 

 

Linda (@kalasfin) sewed size 36 in a brushed sweat fabric. She sewed variant A, with bishop sleeves. "Hanna is an easy pattern that beginners can sew too. It goes relatively fast from start to finished sweatshirt, which is fun. I think the cropped sweatshirt works with everything and is really gorgeous!"

 

Martina (@madebysmedberg) sewed size 36 in ottoman knit. She sewed variant B with long sleeves. 

 

Rose-Marie (@rosieklund) sewed size 36 graded to 38 over the hips. She used a knit fabric and sewed variant C, and added the fabric belt. "A well-made pattern with good options. As usual, a good sewing tutorial which assures that anyone can sew both the sweatshirt and the dress". 

 

Silke (@spoetniksels) sewed two Hannas in size 38, graded to 40 over the hips. Both are variant B. The one to the left has long sleeves and the one to the right has bishop sleeves.

"Deze Hanna is een heel gemakkelijke sweater om te naaien en een favoriet om te dragen. Vooral de colorblock versie met de brede mouwen vind ik helemaal top én trendy!" 

 

Josefine (@elvillebarnklader) sewed a sweatshirt in size 38 with ottoman viscose knit. She sewed variant A with bishop sleeves and says: "I love that you can choose different details which will make all your sweatshirts or dresses unique. You come a long way with this pattern!"

 

Elin (@fruesyr) sewed variant B in size 38. 

 

Erika (@pajzingdesign) sewed size 38 graded to 42/44 over the hips. The one to the left is sewn in french terry, and the other is viscose jersey. Both are variant C with bishop sleeves.

"I absolutely love Hanna, a fantastic pattern with several different models. Depending on which fabric you use, you can use the sweater / dress both for everyday and for parties. As usual an absolutely fantastic tutorial that is easy to understand and easy to follow." 

 

Karolina (@kariksdesign) sewed two sweatshirts in variant B, size 38. The one to the left is sewn in college fabric, the other in a knit sweat fabric. "It's a perfect wardrobe staple!"

 

Elin (@iderik_design) sewed variant C in size 38 graded to 40 over the hips, with a jersey fabric.

 

Charlotte (@trio_med_bus) sewed variant C in size 40. She used a viscose jersey fabric. 

 

Charlotte also sewed variant A.

 

Therese (@lottenbytess) sewed size 40 in a knit fabric. She sewed variant B, but hemmed it instead of sewing it with a waistband.

 

Sofia (@by_zepsi) sewed size 40, variant A, in a jersey fabric.

 

Laura (@laurajohannan) sewed size 40 in a fleece fabric. This is variant A with long sleeves. 

 

Alexandra (@madeinslagsta) sewed size 42 in a knit fabric. She sewed variant A with short sleeves.

  

Hannah (@hellohenry_) sewed size 42, graded to 44 over the waist. She sewed variant C, with bishop sleeves. 

 

Jenny (@jennymedj) sewed size 42 in french terry fabrics. This is variant B, with bishop sleeves. She has paired it with a Sofia skirt.

 

Frida (@frackafritte) sewed size 42 in a knit fabric. This is variant B with bishop sleeves.

 

Kim (@pinkrabbit_nl) sewed size 44, in a brushed sweat fabric. This is variant A with bishop sleeves.

 

Matilda (@s.e.bro) sewed size 44 in viscose jersey. She sewed variant B with bishop sleeves. 

"This will definitely become one of my favourite patterns! Love it when clothes are both comfortable but also pretty. Suitable both for a fancy dinner out but also a cosy evening at home on the couch". 

 

Annika (@madebyornborg) sewed size 42 graded to 46 over the hips. This is variant B with short sleeves, sewn in french terry.

 

Ida (@ida_syr) sewed size 44 in jersey fabric. This is variant C with short sleeves. 

 

Kristie (@thesewcraftybaker) sewed size 46 in a sweater knit fabric. This is variant B with bishop sleeves.

 

Kathrine (@bykatcph) sewed size 46 in a viscose jersey fabric. This is variant C with bishop sleeves.

 

Christina (@ateljeklingetorp) sewed in size 46, variant C in cotton jersey fabric.

She also made a variant A, in tencel jersey fabric.

 

Kristi (@kristikala88) sewed size 46 in a knit terry cloth fabric. This is variant B.

 

Maria (@sysystrar) sewed size 46 in french terry. This is variant A with bishop sleeves. 

 

Pernilla (@meliciadesign) sewed variant C in size 46/48. The one to the left is cotton jersey and the other is viscose jersey.

 

Josefine (@ravenorakan) sewed size 42/46 in a cotton jersey fabric. She sewed variant B with bishop sleeves.

 

Karolina (@karolinaochsymaskinen) sewed size 48 in viscose jersey. She sewed variant A with short sleeves. 

 

Cecilia (@systrarnas.sommerska) sewed size 48 in a knit fabric. This is variant C with bishop sleeves.

 

Sara (@lonn_design) sewed size 50 in cotton jersey fabric. This is variant B.

 

Emma (@e_m_n) sewed size 50 in a knit fabric. She sewed variant C with bishop sleeves. 

 

Annika (@alkobben_by_nickan) sewed size 50 in a jersey fabric. This is variant C with bishop sleeves.
