The Caroline wrap blouse & dress's pattern test was so much fun. I had 25 women helping me out, they received the pattern and sewed a blouse or dress in their own size, and provided feedback for me.

Before the final pattern was released I was able to make improvements both to the pattern itself, but also the sewing instructions - thanks to their feedback. 

The most notable changes in the pattern is that the cropped blouse has been lengthened: from 2 cm in the smallest size up to 3 cm in the largest size. The same for the peplum: from 1 cm in the smallest size, up to 3 cm in the largest size.

 

Let's have a look at what some of the testers made! Starting with the smallest size and up.

In size 32, Jenny (@lilla_tivoli on instagram) made a dress with puff sleeves. She used a woven fabric, tencel satin.

 

In size 34, Frida (@baralitetill) made a cropped blouse with 1/2 sleeves. She used a woven fabric, muslin.

In size 36, Ida (@avidarand) made a cropped blouse with puff sleeves. She used a woven fabric, cotton crepe.

In size 36, Julia (by_flock) sewed a cropped blouse with 1/2 sleeves. She used a woven fabric, crepe.  

 

In size 36, Laura (@laurajohannan) made a dress with long sleeves for her daughter. They used a woven fabric, muslin (double gauze).

In size 36, Marnie (@horrisanddeedle) made a peplum blouse with puff sleeves. She used a woven fabric, linen.

 

In size 38, Therese (@pillangodesign) made a dress with 1/2 sleeves. She used a woven viscose.

In size 40, Charlotte (@trio_med_bus) made a peplum blouse with short sleeves. She used a woven fabric, linen viscose.

 

In size 42, Damaris (@leissadesign) made a peplum blouse with 1/2 sleeves. She used a knit fabric, cotton jersey.

 

In size 42, Kim (@pinkrabbit_nl) made a cropped blouse with short sleeves. She used a woven fabric, double gauze. 

 

In size 42, Annika (@madebyornborg) sewed a dress with short sleeves. She used a knit fabric, cotton jersey.

 

In size 44, Alexandra (@madeinslagsta) sewed a dress with short sleeves. She used a woven viscose fabric.

In size 48, Matilda (@s.e.bro) made a dress with short sleeves. She used a knit fabric, modal tencel jersey. 

 

In size 48, Veronica (fru.larsen_syr) made a peplum blouse with long sleeves. She used a woven cotton fabric.

 

In size 50/52, Joelle (@joellecreatief) made a dress with short sleeves. She used a woven viscose.
